Welcome to the Dodgers Dreamteam Coaches Training in Partnership with Nike

The Coaches Training Series in partnership with Nike is part of the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation’s Coach Recognition Program, which includes Coach of the Year awards, paid coach mentors, Coaches Certificates, and “Living Jackies Nine” Coaches Playbook. LADF partners with leading national organizations, Center for Healing and Justice through Sport (CHJS), Positive Coaching Alliance and Dodgers Training Academy, to ensure coaches within Dodgers Dreamteam have the appropriate resources they need to coach and teach baseball and softball fundamentals, trauma-informed approaches, positive youth development strategies, empathy, and using sport as a vehicle for social change.

We empower our coaches to embrace Jackie’s nine values while pursuing ‘Coaching for Lasting Impact’ with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation​. By completing our Coaches Training Series, you will:
  • Explore what it means to be ‘Connected Competitors’ with the Center for Healing and Justice through Sport
  • Learn ‘Cultural Competence’ through the Positive Coaching Alliance
  • Design ‘Skills and Drills’ with the Dodgers Training Academy
