Joe Smith serves as the Project Director of SHIFT, a global mutual aid and continuous learning community focused on shifting perspective and power in the field of Sport for Development. Prior to joining CHJS, Joe worked as a coach, mentor and facilitator in his various roles with PeacePlayers. Joe believes deeply in the healing power of sport, and has a particular enthusiasm for young people having the power and mic to shape their future. Joe resides in Alexandria, VA with his wife Kasey and kids Jordan and Noah.
